1963 Gibson LG-1 Sunburst

One of the cleanest examples we've seen of the Gibson LG-1 flat top! This 1963 guitar features a beautiful three-tone sunburst finish with mahogany back and sides, a comfortable '60s neck profile with low action throughout, the original bridge and "tortoiseshell" pickguard. This guitar is free from any cracks or repairs and plays all the way up the neck, with a dry, balanced tone perfect for songwriters as well as fingerpicking styles. The guitar includes the original faux-alligator chipboard case, which like the guitar is in remarkable shape for a piece of this vintage. Nothing sounds like a vintage Gibson acoustic and this '63 LG-1 is a fantastic value for its incredible sound.
