Wow. This 1949 Gibson LG-2 is my current favorite among several high end acoustics we have in the shop right now. A sweet playing and truly great sounding small bodied cross-braced Gibson acoustic. It’s the epitome of what an LG-2 should be.
This guitar has replaced tuner buttons, a neck reset, and a refret, but is otherwise original. This soon-to-be 80 year old guitar is in good vintage condition with just a few minor finish blemishes, buckle wear on back, and normal playing wear (see pictures). Non-original chipboard case.
A great playing, great sounding LG-2 that has that certain something that we guitar players are always searching for.
