1950? Maybe. Has one of those factory order numbers inside that can be anywhere from 1947-52, and boy, does it not matter in this case. I have never, and I mean never, seen a Gibson of this period that looks so like it’s new, and I mean new. It appears to never have been out of its case, ever, except to get one sorta noticeable ding on the top (I’ll call this a badge of honor) and maybe a couple more tiny ones, somewhere, but other than that it appears untouched. Original uncut bone Gibson saddle, even has its original Kluson tuners with perfect original white buttons, something that’s just never seen. The best part of course is that it’s a terrific guitar, as bright and clean sounding and as loud and strong as any Gibson LG-model I’ve ever seen or played, and the setup is original perfect as the day it left the Gibson factory too. Just wonderful, is all I can say, would thrill anyone to own it. Comes with modern hard shell case of course. $4495 w/hsc
