Up for sale is an insanely cool and well worn 1952 Gibson LG-3 small-bodied acoustic guitar. This example features an X-braced spruce top w/ mahogany back and sides, a chunky early 1950s neck profile, small pickguard design, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This guitar is a true survivor! There’s a hole in the headstock where a tuner was once installed — someone tried to make this a 7 string! Condition wise this one is in good shape but absolutely shows its age. No shortage of wear on this one! Finish checking, chipping and pickwear. There is a repaired back crack, top crack, brace repaired and reglued. Neck reset, new saddle, bridge pins and tuner buttons. Incredible sounding and a truly wonderful player’s grade l1950s X-braced LG sized Gibson. Comes complete with and era correct Gibson alligator soft-case.
