1953 Gibson LG-3 Excellent, Hard, $3,595.00

A beautiful, clean example of a beautiful, clean older smaller-bodied Gibson guitar. We had this one here years ago and it’s still in just as nice condition as when it left, wonderfully kept by it’s last owner. It is 100% original other than two small improvements, being replaced tuner buttons (but you all know about that), and a perfectly-made bone saddle replacing the original plastic one (I suspect that we did this here last time around, looks like our work). The back seam had a minor separation, very neatly taken care of, looks like our work as well. Action is fabulous, smooth and easy; tone is as clear as the best LG-model Gibsons ever can be, with all the volume you could ever want and more. Doesn’t get any sweeter than this 1950s Gibson LG-3 and at a very smart price. Comes with top-grade modern hard shell case. $3595 w/hsc
