MINTY 1993 Gibson L-1 CM Limited Edition in Vintage Sunburst!
Nice near mint Gibson L-1 with some very rare specs. Only 31 made back in 1993. Ebony board, Nick Lucas-style inlays, deeper body like Nick Lucas, peanut body shape, pyramid bridge, fancy L-5 headstock flowerpot inlay, deep Vintage Sunburst finish and beautiful Curly Maple back and sides. There are a few light check marks but looks great otherwise. The guitar plays well and sounds excellent! A classic Gibson made in the early days of Gibson Montana. Comes with the original hardshell case, paperwork, etc...
The deeper body, the extra black lines in the bindings, the extra peghead inlays and fingerboard inlays, etc., all point to a more elaborate model, like the early issue Nick Lucas models.
The peghead veneer has old style The Gibson logo at top and traditional Gibson flowerpot in center. Bone nut. Radiused Ebony fingerboard has Nick Lucas inlay motif. Ebony pyramid bridge with cut-thru bone saddle. Top and back edge of white bindings show black accent line in center. Multi binding heel cap. White end wedge. Neck is 3-pc Maple with two Ebony stringers in center. Gold tuners.
