This is a super cool 1979 Gibson Marauder that plays and sounds great! It has really interesting specs that include a bolt-on neck and a maple fretboard that is similar to a Fender feel. The tone is reminiscent of a Tele Custom given the humbucker in the neck position paired with a smaller humbucker that resembles a single coil.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, dents, and scuffs throughout the body with additional dents along the fretboard. The hardware also shows some light tarnish from over time as well. The guitar is in really nice shape overall for its age and the electronics work as they should.
The guitar has been re-fretted and the pickguard has been replaced. The old pickguard has a crack that was glued back together and is included inside the case.
