1988 Gibson Master Model Johnny Smith!

One of the last original Johnny Smith models. Prior to the Le Grand model there was a model made specifically to guitarist's Johnny Smith specs. This to many is Gibson's perfect jazz archtop model. This particular one was made by Gibson master luthier, the late-great James Hutchins. This is a collectible guitar that is a great tool as well.
.
The guitar was a one-owner. It was very-well cared for. Floating Johnny Smith pickup, pickguard control and jack. Optimal for acoustic sound which translates when plugged in. This is a great sounding guitar that is very comfortable to play.
.
The guitar is very clean overall. The guitar has some light surface marks. There are a couple stand discolorations on the bottom and very minimal finish loss near the bottom strap button. The tortoise pickguard is off-gassing as per usual. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case and 1/8" to 1/4" cable.

Weight: 7.3 lbs.
