Simplicity Simplified.

How do you make a "student" guitar at one of the great American guitar factories of all time. Plain and simple. Solid mahogany neck, solid mahogany body, single coil pickup, volume and tone control, compensated wrap - around bridge...Done. At 5lb 3.2oz, no wonder it became a favorite of legions of rockers.

But wait! This Melody Maker was born simply too complex. It came from the factory with a Vibrola vibrato. What, you worry? Worry not. This was remedied by performing a simple Vibrolectemy. Yep, some previous owner removed the 3 screws securing the Vibrola to the body making this little guy Vibrolaless. Simple.
