We’re always happy to get a Melody Maker in, especially these late ’60s ones with the SG body! Up for grabs a 1966 Gibson Melody Maker in Cardinal Red! When this model was first introduced, in ’59, it only had a single cut away and was very similar to a Les Paul JR. only a little thiner. Then in ’61 they added a second cut away. But in ’66 they decided to make the horns pointy and basically do a very similar body to their SG model. These are some of the coolest looking Gibson guitars! You don’t see too many Gibsons with this style single coil pick up. It also sports a super rad trem system. This is a really great guitar and an awesome price point for a 60s Gibson!
