Thinline semi-hollow electric with double-bound laminated maple body with f-holes, feedback-eliminating center block, and (big and nicely-rounded) mahogany neck, great weight at 8.1 pounds, and in terrific shape. A painstaking reproduction of the first year of Gibson's long-lived and iconic ES-335 model, in dark, rich '58 Burst nitrocellulose lacquer finish, with proper 1958 features like the unbound rosewood fingberboard with dot inlays, 1 & 11/16" nut width, big "mickey mouse ears" cutaway bouts, quartersawn Adirondack spruce bracing secured with hot hide glue, 3-ply black "long" pickguard with 45-degree bevel, and very musical and articulate pickups, in this instance Gibson's fantastic MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) humbuckers. Other features include lovely nickel parts such as the pickup covers, Tune-o-matic bridge, stoptail and Kluson Deluxe tuners with plastic keystone buttons, and an aged pickup selector complemented by gold "top hat" knobs. Very clean, all-original, comes in its deluxe factory hard case with case keys and COA, made in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
