2007 Gibson Memphis ES-335 Dot Figured Vintage Sunburst w/OHSC
Up for grabs, one exceptionally clean 2007 Gibson Memphis factory made ES-335 Dot in a vibrant Vintage sunburst finish over a subtly figured maple body. Included in the sale is the originally supplied Gibson Custom Shop ES shaped hardcase.
A discontinued iteration of the ES-335, our model features classic specs such as a maple/poplar/maple semi-hollow body construction with a maple centre block and spruce bracing, paired with a one-piece slender ‘60s-style C-shaped profile mahogany neck, bound rosewood fretboard with dot inlay and a pair of ’57 Classic PAF humbuckers.
Given the age of this guitar, it is in excellent condition, showcasing an exceptionally clean exterior with only a few light surface marks and three minute dents on the rear right side of the headstock, as pictured. The neck and frets provide smooth and slick playability, with all 22 frets showing little to no wear. The original nickel hardware has minimal tarnish, and the stock electronics function seamlessly as intended. Finally, the '57 Classic PAF humbuckers deliver a smooth bass register, tailored midrange, and sweet, articulate trebles, consistent with Gibson's vintage "Patent Applied For" pickups from their golden era.
This one weighs in at 8.3lbs.
It’s been expertly cleaned and setup by Ben of Beej Guitar Repairs with a fresh set of 10-46 strings
