Description

Every guitarist should have at least one really good ES-335 in their arsenal (IMHO). Offered here is a superb example for your consideration, a '59 ES-335 Dot Reissue built in Gibson's Memphis factory and completed in early 2010.

The specs for this superb instrument include: Maple laminate for the top, back and sides finished in Vintage Cherry with a total guitar weight of just 7.4 pounds; a one piece Mahogany neck, joined to the body with hide glue, with a rounded '59 C-shape and depth measurements of .89" at the first fret and 1.00" at the twelfth fret; a bound Rosewood fretboard with 1-11/16" nut; vintage style 'Tulip' tuners; and for electronics, Gibson's 57 Classic PAF-style humbuckers. The stock control knobs have been switched out for reflector knobs, but the vintage-style black originals are included.

This guitar has all that you could ask for in a 335; a chunky neck, very light weight, perfect balance, superb playability and that fat, woody ES-335 tone! This guitar has been given Gibson's VOS aging treatment so it has the patina of a lightly played vintage instrument. Other than than the factory aging and a few play marks on the pickguard, this instrument shows little evidence of wear and the frets are in great shape too. It comes in it's original brown case with the certificate of authenticity.

Gibson dealers are asking nearly $6K for new examples of this instrument, but you can get this lightly played and very light weight 2010 example for far less! Click the 'Buy Now' button and make this beauty yours.
