Description

Here we have one of the nicest 335's I've come across in a long time, a very lightly played Memphis-built ES 335 Fat Neck built in 2010. She has: a laminated maple top, back and sides in Antique Natural finish with single ply binding; a one-piece Mahogany neck with a rounded 50's neck carve with depth measurements of .930" at the first fret and 1.00" at the twelfth fret; a 1 11/16" nut width; a nice dark Indian Rosewood fretboard with pearloid dots; an ABR-1 bridge and stop bar tailpiece; Kluson style tuners; and 57 Classic humbuckers. She weighs just 8.0 lbs. Play just a few notes and you quickly realize this is one of the "good ones." The playability is superb and the tone is fat and woody and can be either smooth or driven. I'm not sure where this beauty has been for the last six years, but it sure hasn't seen much play. The only flaws to be found are a few scuffs on the pickguard, a couple of tiny impressions near the input jack and a scuff on the headstock edge. Otherwise, this guitar is near immaculate condition-wise, frets included. It comes in it's similarly nice original Gibson case, with the certificate of authenticity. If you love 335's, you really need to check this one out. This is one very, very nice ES 335!
