2015 Gibson Midtown Standard Sunburst, Very Good, Original Hard, $999.99

Summary: The Midtown Standard covers the sonic spectrum, from hard rock to soft jazz with an elegant, upscale design. Ultra-playable and super-stylish, two matched Burstbucker pickups power the big, full sound with its hallmark smooth sustain and tremendous tone. This particular Gibson has a wonderful sunburst finish & it comes with the original hardshell case!

Body: Semi-hollow double cutaway electric guitar with a maple top & mahogany back. The top and the neck are fully bound.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, 22 frets, 1.695” nut width, 12” radius, 24.75” scale length. The frets are in great shape and show very little wear.

Pickups/Hardware: Chrome hardware, 22 frets, Burstbucker pickups, 2 volume knobs & 2 tone knobs with a 3-way selector switch. This Gibson has Grover tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This instrument is in really good shape but it does have some light signs of wear. There is some very mild pick scratching on the top & I found a few small dings but you have to hold it in the light to see them. The back is also in great shape and shows very little wear besides some light scratching around the edges. Not unplayed, but it is a well cared for guitar!

Playability: This Gibson plays great – we set it up with 10’s and it plays with no buzzing or dead spots.
