Used 2005 Gibson Brands SG Bass serial number 029951348.
This bass is in very good condition, neck and frets are fine. Cosmetically showing limited playing time, there is some finish wear (not thru the finish) on the back.
In 2005 Gibson Gibson began production of the reissue EB Bass. They retained the looks, construction and general sound of the EB-3 basses; however, the reissue SG Bass simplified the controls. There is no longer a varitone switch, eliminating the original EB-3’s volume changes when you changed to another setting. This bass is lightweight yet substantial and most of all has the deep rich sounds of the original EB-3.
