Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson SG shows moderate to heavy cosmetic wear; the original Polaris white finish shows checking and wear along the edges of the body, and is glossy with assorted small dings and scratches. The back of the body has tape markings as well as wear around the repaired heel. There are open screw holes at the heel from a previously installed plastic cover, and the hardware is nicely tarnished with age. The back of the neck is heavily worn, and there are a few small chips in the ebony fretboard from the prior refret. There are six open screw holes on the back of the headstock from previously installed tuners.

Modifications/Repairs: -Repaired heel break -Replaced nut -The neck has been refretted -Touched up solder joints -Open screw holes on the back of the headstock and the back of the heel from previous modifications -Non-original vibrato arm bolt

Serial Number: 139435

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and the truss rod is adjustable. The frets are narrow and low with light wear. The serial number, electronics, and pot codes date the guitar to 1963.
