1962 Gibson SG Standard Cherry Red
This is a cool and interesting Gibson SG Standard that was made in the USA in 1962. It was sent back to Gibson in the late 1960's and renecked and probably refinished. It has the large imprint serial number that is the tell tale sign of a Gibson that was sent back to the factory, and it has a thin profile neck typical of the late 1960's with a 1 and 9/16th inch nut width. The guitar shows some light play wear but it is in good shape for its age. Most of the parts are original: single line klusons, nickel abr-1, nickel side pull vibrola, original pre t-top patent sticker pickups (covers are not original) and pots that date to 1962. All the plastic is original as well. The guitar has been pro-setup and plays great. It comes with a non original case.
