1968 Gibson SG Standard Cherry Red
This vintage originale 1968 Gibson SG Standard has a particularly great tone...super warm with a warm tone and lots of sustain. A light and resonant example.
This guitar features a 1968 serial number, though it appears the pots are dated 1970, for this reason we believe the guitar may have been assembled in 1970. Has 1968 features....no made in USA stamp, no volute, patent sticker pickups, etc.
Original Patent Sticker humbuckers have that classic vintage SG tone. Pots and pickups are original.
Neck is the perfect size, somewhat smaller from earlier SG models so it's real easy to get around on. Action is nice and low and plays great all the way up and down with no buzz or issues. Neck is nice and straight.
Guitar has signs of wear but no cracks or breaks. It appears the finish on the back was oversprayed.
This is an amazing playing and sounding vintage SG Standard with some honest signs of wear.
Comes with vintage original hardshell case but it's missing the handle...handle could be replaced.

After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
