1970 Gibson SG Standard Cherry Red Refinished Cherry Red Plays Amazing
Here's a vintage original 1970 Gibson SG Standard with a nice Cherry Red finish and stop tailpiece. Plays and sounds as great as she looks!
The stop tailpiece replaces the Lyre bridge, and the guitar plays better with a stop tailpiece as it provides more sustain. It also stays in tune very well.
The Cherry Red finish is a professional finish and it looks fantastic.
The neck is nice and straight and true and plays great all the way up and down without any buzz or issues. No cracks or breaks. Good low action.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers and they sound like vintage PAF's. Tone is out of this world. Warm and punchy with a clean tone, absolutely screaming with distortion. All pots are original and dated 1970.
This is the perfect vintage SG for the working musician.
