Here we have a 1972 Gibson SG Standard in Walnut finish that’s a sweet and solid player. This guitar has normal playwear that gigging instruments tend to acquire over time, mostly a patina of very small dings and light scratches. It has a repaired headstock crack and a replaced bridge, but otherwise is all original. Overall it presents very well.
Basic Specs: Gibson-labeled Grover Rotomatics. 1 9/16 inch nut width. Mahogany neck with a 24.75 inch scale length. Neck depth is .78 inches at the first fret and .94 inches at the twelfth fret. Bound Rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and a 12 inch radius. Original Patent Number Decal Humbuckers with embossed covers. Nice! Chinese replacement bridge, but the Gibson-branded Bigsby is original.
This would be a great guitar for a working musician. It’s definitely ready to rock your audience all night long. Comes with original hardshell case.
