Here we have a 2001 Gibson SG Standard in very good condition minus some finish fading on the neck and the kind of honest playwear a well loved instrument acquires over time.
Basic Specs: Gibson deluxe tuners. 1 11/16 inch nut width. Mahogany neck with a 24.75 inch scale length. The nut has a small chip that doesn’t affect action or intonation. Neck depth is .73 inches at the first fret and .97 inches at the twelfth fret. Bound Rosewood fingerboard with crown inlays and 22 frets with some wear in the lower positions. Original Gibson humbuckers and pots. ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece. Modestly faded Cherry finish except for the back of the neck which is a bit more faded (perhaps someone intentionally removed some of the finish to get the feel they wanted).
Set up in-house and playing great. This is your basic SG standard and at a price that most anyone can afford. Comes with a clean original hardshell case.
