Description

This 2003 Gibson Sheryl Crow serial number 00933029 is in excellent condition. These guitars are quite unique considering the back story.

Most players seeking one will know all the details and specifications however for those that are not familiar, here are the highlights: In 1999 Sheryl Crow brought her beloved 1962 Gibson Country Western to Gibson Acoustic and asked for an identical replica with modern appointments. Gibson responded in kind with the introduction of the new Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series guitar—basically a painstaking re-creation of Crow’s Country Western, but also a variation of Gibson’s renowned Hummingbird.

The body is similar to Gibson’s J-45 slope shoulder dreadnought design, but with wider, square shoulder accents on the upper bouts. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top with an antique natural finish, solid mahogany back and sides with a heritage cherry finish, 24-3/4” scale mahogany neck with bound 20 fret
rosewood fingerboard, parallelogram inlays, black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson crown inlay, individual covered nickel tuners with white buttons. White bindings on front and back and black/white 5 ring purfling, hummingbird style tortoise pickguard and rosewood reverse belly bridge.

The technical aspects are easy to grasp, what that doesn’t tell you is this is one great looking and big bold fantastic sounding guitar. This made in Montana beauty will just keep getting better with age. If you have not had the pleasure of playing a “big” Gibson, try it, you’ll like it.

Offered at a very nice price.
