SJ DELUXE, a natural color Southern Jumbo produced in Kalamazoo in the early 1970s, is now in stock.

The powerful headstock and logo are unique to this era.
The label inside the soundhole and the original Gibson DELUXE tuners are also nicely preserved and very cool and pretty.
The use of block pearl inlay on the fingerboard is also a nice point for guitar lovers.

Around 1970, Gibson shifted from round-shoulder type models to square-shoulder models.
In addition to the dreadnought form, a long scale was also adopted.

Double X bracing was also adopted as a characteristic of this period.
This is to prevent any trouble on the top of the body and to make the structure stronger.

These specifications give the Gibsom sound that could only be produced during this period.
The double X bracing gives it a unique attack sound and a comped feel.
However, since the volume is well secured, it is an excellent guitar for playing mainly chord strokes.

The paint on the top of the body has faded around the soundhole area due to age and being pulled on for so long, which is very cool.
This is a gem that we especially recommend to those who love Gibson.
