Gibson / 1941 SJ-100

SJ-100" appeared in 1939 as a lower model of SJ-200.
The production period was only 3 years, and the total shipment was 138 pieces.
It is a premium model that is rarely distributed.

It has the same 17" wide body as the SJ-200, but features simpler overall decoration.
Now that it has become vintage, you can feel the greatness due to its simplicity, and it has a very aura.

The body top is Adirondack spruce.
Sunburst black faded to dark brown, and the yellow in the center matches exquisitely. It has an imposing look suitable for a prewar model.

The side back mahogany is also very beautiful and colorful.
The pattern on the backstrip is also unique and elaborately designed with maple and mahogany.
The mahogany is particularly stylish in that the grain of the mahogany is perpendicular to the body.

The late model 3-pointed beveled bridge (bad wing) is a Hakaranda original, with a beautifully carved shape and excellent craftsmanship.
The sweet looking fingerboard Hakaranda is also unbearable.

The neck is maple with a rich expression dotted with bird's eye and flame.
The head top is also made of maple, a distinctive design that sets it apart from models made after 1950.

The sound is loud, which you will notice when you first play it.
You can enjoy the powerful and colorful vintage tone.

[Condition.]
The condition of the neck and wood has been inspected and adjusted by a professional acoustic guitar craftsman and is in excellent condition in all areas.
The neck has been straightened and adjusted with no chatter or jamming, and the string height at the 12th fret is set at 2.7mm on the 6th string side and 2.2mm on the 1st string side.
The saddle protrusion is approximately 1.5 to 2 mm.
