Description

This clean Gibson TB-100 tenor banjo from 1957 has just come out of obscurity from the family of the original owner. Forgotten and unplayed for decades, it retains all its original parts and has suffered no breaks or repairs. We believe even the head to be the original skin head. We’ve just had it set up professionally with new strings so it plays beautifully. We’re confident you’ll love it.

Make and Model: Gibson, TB-100
Year of Manufacture: 1957, FON 7-xxxx xx
Specifications: 11″ pot, one piece flange, 1/4″ brass tone ring, 19 frets

Notes: Apart from the oxidation on the nickel, this banjo remains remarkably clean. The original raised metal Gibson badge for the case pocket has detached but is inside the pocket.
