Description

This fantastic all original late 1960s Trini Lopez model guitar has a serial of 892544 and sports a vintage red and amber sunburst finish and double sharp cutaways. The highly checked maple top is paired with a mahogany neck that ends at a Gibson Strat-styled headstock. Diamond F-holes and diamond inlays on the neck add to the classy vibe of this beautiful beast. The Trini Logo on the tailpiece is separating slightly at the top. It is missing the pickguard. The neck has a few small dings and some finish wear towards the headstock and some scuffing at the top of the headstock. The back of the body has some mild belt rash. There is a crack that runs underneath the output jack and there is some slight separation on the binding as well in a few spots. It measures 46” long from the end of tailpiece to top of headstock, 17” wide by 3.25” deep, and has a 25.5” scale neck. This guitar is solid and evenly balanced. A thinner C-neck profile makes for some zippy leads and frantic chord stompin’ up and down the neck! It has the original Gibson patent humbuckers that have a nice growl and even smoothness to them. Comes with original hardshell case! Call for an in-hand description!
