The cornerstone just got smoother — the amazing American-made Gibson ES-345 semi-hollowbody guitar boasts a number of aesthetic enhancements over the flagship ES-335. Not only does it improve in design, but the ES-345 also shows off a wicked Gibson semi-hollow look, colored in a throwback-style Vintage Burst with a gloss lacquer finish and black five-ply pickguard topped off with nickel hardware.
Crafted with a thermally engineered maple centerblock in the three-ply maple/poplar/maple top and body, and rounded-off with thermally engineered quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing, players will be impressed by the lightweight feel and expanded range of tonal capabilities. The body is wrapped in multi-ply cream binding, while the mahogany rounded C-profile neck and bound rosewood fingerboard has split parallelogram inlays exclusive to this model in the ES series.
The ES-345 is equipped with a variety of high-end appointments, such as Gibson's new Calibrated T-Type humbucking pickups, complete with hand-wired control assembly with orange drop capacitors. Control your tone with the two volume controls for each pickup, a singular tone control and a three-way toggle switch. The Vintage Deluxe style tuners and lightweight aluminum ABR-1 bridge and stop bar tailpiece anchored give you perfect intonation, showing off steel thumb-wheels and studs.
