Back to where it all began — the new Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s P-90 electric guitar returns to the classic design that made it famous. Completely crafted in America, the Les Paul Standard '50s P-90 has a solid mahogany body with a gorgeous Gold Top maple top and a rounded vintage '50s-style mahogany neck that is home to a smooth and easy-to-play rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two medium jumbo frets adorned with trapezoid inlays — bringing a solid playability to an utterly comfortable guitar.
The classic P-90 pickups at the neck and bridge are loaded with Alnico V magnets, audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors, and can be shaped using two volume and two tone controls along with a three-way toggle switch. It's equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum stopbar tailpiece, vintage deluxe tuners with keystone buttons and aged gold top hat knobs.
