2012 Gibson Firebird V Reverse BLACK!

Very sleek and lightweight Gibson Firebird Reverse in Black! A joy to play versus the usual neck-heavy (heavy in general) Firebirds. No banjo tuners, no neck dive! This is the good model that still has the reverse headstock with full Firebird headstock with overlay. Unfortunately Gibson doesn't make them like this anymore unless you go with the much more expensive Custom Shop models. The guitar is in excellent condition overall. A few light dings and surface marks but very nice overall. Black shows everything and this one is still nice... Comes with the original hardshell case and all the case candy as shown.

Based on the 1963 original Firebird updated with ceramic 'buckers and gearless tuners. The Gibson 2013 Firebird features the original 1963-style classic reverse body styling and neck-through body design for increased sustain and solid attack. Modern improvements include high-output ceramic mini-humbuckers and gearless Steinberger 40:1 ratio machine heads for extreme tuning precision. The Firebird 2010 has a mahogany body with walnut stringers and mahogany wings, bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, and chrome hardware. Includes case.
