2011 Gibson VOS LPR8 Sunburst, Very Good, Original Hard case

Summary: This is a 2011 Gibson Les Paul from the Gibson Custom Shop. This instrument is a 1958 VOS Plain-top with a beautiful sunburst finish with a Bigsby vibrato. This guitar comes with the original hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity and some original hangtags & paperwork inside the case.

Body: Solid-body single cutaway electric guitar with a mahogany body & a maple top. This guitar has a wonderful sunburst finish and the top is fully bound.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a fully bound rosewood fingerboard, block inlays, 21 frets, 24.5” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width. The frets on this guitar are in great shape with a ton of life left in them.

Pickups/Hardware: Chrome hardware, 2 humbucker pickups, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs and a 3-way switch. .

Cosmetics: This guitar is in really great shape – I can’t even find any buckle scratches on the back! When we got this guitar we were told that the Bigsby was from the factory & it looks like it was very well done, however, after calling Gibson & talking with them we found out that the Bigsby was added after it was purchased. Overall this instrument is still very cool & it is in great condition.

Playability: This Gibson Les Paul plays great. The action is low & the instrument plays with no buzzing or dead spots. We set this guitar up with 10’s and it is ready to be played and loved for years & years.

Modifications: A real Bigsby vibrato has been added to this guitar.
