As per Gibson this is a 2015 Les Paul Traditional Japan (Yamano) made for the Japanese Market, but not shipped to Japan. It was originally sold thru AMS.

This instrument does not conform to the specs of a 2015 Gibson Les Paul Classic, Traditional or Standard. If this Lester was manufactured to 2015 spec's the Head Stock would say "Les Paul 100", this doesn't despite being Stamped 2015. A 2015 Classic would have 3 knobs and a Micro Switch, a 2015 Traditional would have a Brass Nut and Les Paul 100 on the head Stock and a 50's Neck. The 2015 Standard would also have a Brass Nut with Les Paul 100 on the Head Stock, but with a Slim Asymmetrical Neck, which this guitar has, yet Gibson tags it a Traditional. I have found a 2016 Les Paul Standard in Japan on Reverb with the same specs as this 2015. Locking Tuners, 59 Humbuckers, Bone Nut, Asymmetrical Neck. Yamano Gibson's are the Highest Quality Gibson's produced next to Gibson's Custom Shop.

In Excellent Condition Free of any real play time. 9 Lbs. 13 Oz's on the scale and loaded with Tone! We just put the instrument thru the shop giving it a clean bill of health. The geometry of the build is spot on. We just completed a full setup using feeler gauges and straight edges to insure low buzz free action. The original owner upgraded the wiring harness to a late 80's early 90's Gibson Harness. He then put it away in the case and would take it out only to be admired & played sparingly. No Rash, Worming, Fret Wear, Cracks or Dents.
