I love the mighty Precision Bass- Lord knows how many I've had over the years, but every now and then, we get a bass in the shop that we absolutely have to dub "a P-Bass killer." Ladies and gentlemen, this LB-100 is just one of those basses.

Dial the tone knob forward and you get a bright and aggressive, biting sound. There's a lot of crisp top while retaining the low, thick bottom. Dial it back and you get a wonderful, round "Dub thump" that fills the room. The Saddle Lock bridge is more than substantial and helps to provide clarity and sustain of the notes.

There are several features on this LB that Leo pulled over from his Musicman years: the strap buttons, neckplate, and tuners all harken back to the years of his legendary Stingrays and all seem to contribute to the immediate familiarness of the bass. Its slightly streamlined body is comfortable and well-balanced, whether sitting or standing.

The bass is very clean, having only a few dings, the most egregious being pictured on the upper edge of the instrument. It has been cleaned, detailed and restrung Curt Mangan 0.45-1.05 Nickelwounds. The original hardshell case is in like condition and has also been detailed. As always, we thank you for stopping by and please feel free to call, email or PM with any questions.
