Description

Apparently some sort of a test run, this guitar was one of two based on the Legacy Humbucker and two based on ASATs made from a wood common the Central and South America and some Pacific Islands including Hawaii made from a wood called Monkey Pod, named after the fruit that grows on it. It is also called Raintree. It is a sustainable hardwood that id light and resonant, perfect for guitars. This one is made in the USA and features a Standard legacy neck, G&L USA pickups, tuners and bridge. It appears that the tone pot was replaced and the wiring job is quite basic but everything works as it should and it plays and sounds great with new 10 gauge strings. The guitar shows a hint of fret wear and has a few tiny nicks in the satin finish. It also shows a spot of pick wear on the face of the body as seen in the photos. The guitar weighs only 6lbs., 10oz. It will ship in the original G&L hard shell case as shown.
