2009 Gold Tone GT-750 Deluxe Banjitar 6-String banjo is in excellent condition and perfect playing order. Comes with the original hardcase. It came to us without the truss rod cover.
What's better than a 6-string banjo? An electric 6-string banjo! Boasting a humbucking pickup in the neck position.
It started out life as a left-handed 6-string banjo, and was converted to a right-handed. Which is why the volume control is on the treble side of the body. The nut had been replaced to accommodate the orientation change, and the volume knob was changed. Otherwise it's all original.
The GT-750 features a clear head, a bell brass flat top tone ring, bound flamed maple resonator, rosewood fretboard with 21 frets and slotted diamond inlays, and a passive humbucker in the neck.
For some reason, someone painted the "e" in "Tone" red. There is a very small, pen-head sized, puncture on the head that's a couple inches away from the bass side edge. It's in the It's in great shape with only minor surface scuffs and polish swirls in the finish. The frets show barely any wear.
Has a 1 11/16" nut width, a 25 1/2" scale length, and weighs 11 pounds 2 ounces.
