Description

Offered is this superb 2016 Goodall Traditional 000 with a German Spruce top and gorgeous Cocobolo Rosewood for the back and side.

I'm of the belief that James Goodall is making some of the finest acoustic guitars currently available and this instrument only confirms my opinion. The TC000 is a short scale (25"), 12-fret instrument with a voice that has extra punch in the bass and mid-range frequencies, without any significant loss of treble or clarity. The short scale geometry also makes it responsive to your touch and a joy to play.

Other specs of this beautiful guitar include: a 1-3/4" bone nut; 2-1/4" string spacing; partially scalloped X top bracing; gorgeous Maple binding on the body, neck and headstock; Ebony fretboard, headstock overlay and bridge; herringbone purfling; chevron wood backstrip; Waverly tuners with Ebony buttons; Boxwood end and bridge pins; and it comes in a premium Ameritage case with humidification.

The tone of this guitar is powerful, rich and well-balanced. Please check out the brief sound sample included below. The playability is superb, with twelfth fret string heights of 6/64" on the low E side and 4/64" on the high E side. This is one great acoustic!

This guitar is in fabulous condition too, with only the slightest of evidence of play and the frets show no obvious wear. Even the pickguard shows little in the way of pick scratching. This instrument has been treated with great care.

This guitar sold new for $8K in 2016. You can get this near mint beauty for about half the price of what a new example would cost today. Get yourself a real treasure with this marvelous Goodall. You will be very glad that you did!
