Description

Offered for your consideration is this fabulous and near mint traditional style 000-size guitar built by James Goodall in 2017. This is serial number 6588.

This 000 is a 12-fret, short (25") string scale instrument. It has a AAA grade Adirondack Spruce top matched with lovely Honduran Mahogany for the back and sides. It has Maple binding with herringbone purflings and rosette. It has an oval-shaped Mahogany neck with depth measurements of .85" at the first fret and .965" at the twelfth. The fretboard is Ebony with a 16" radius, Abalone inlays and a 1-3/4" bone nut. The slotted headstock has Maple binding, an Ebony overlay and MOP logo inlay. It has an Ebony bridge with a bone saddle and 2-1/4" string spacing. The tuners are nickel Waverlys with Ebony buttons and the bridge and end pins are made of Boxwood. It is 15-3/16" wide at the lower bout and 4-1/4" deep at the tail block.

Strummed or fingerpicked, this guitar has presence and is quite responsive. It can be powerful or intimate depending on your level of attack. It has a full, well-balanced voice with a touch of warmth provided by the beautiful Honduran Mohogany. Please check out the brief sound sample included herein. It plays superbly and is setup with Elixir Phosphor Bronze lights and 12th fret string heights of 6/64" at the low E side and 4/64" on the high E side with just a touch of neck relief.

This beautiful instrument has seen little play and is in near mint condition. The only flaws of any type are a few scratches on the pickguard and even these are hard to find. The frets are flawless. It comes in it's original and near mint Ameritage humidification case along with the certificate/spec sheet and the original accessories.

A new example of this guitar would have a street price of approximately $7K, but this near mint 2017 beauty can be yours for thousands less. It is a fabulous acoustic at a great price. Make this Goodall 000 yours today. You will be very happy indeed!
