Here's a 1948 Gretsch Synchromatic in Trans Blonde finish. Really cool 40's Archtop, that plays & sounds great! Spruce top, maple back & sides, 16" wide body, 24 1/2" scale, 14 frets clear of the body, and Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Beautiful clear tone that's full & projecting. The changed parts to note are the tuners & bridge. The tailpiece, which is original, slightly broke off at the bottom, but was secured to the heel block through the top. It's 100% secure. There's also a rosewood strip inlaid into the back of the neck and the body has been re-bound. The guitar had a neck re-set, and now has easy playing action. Very good re-fret was done along with the neck set. The guitar plays great! The bass side of the headstock has been doweled on the edge, and is also secure. Lotta player grade mojo on this rare archtop! HSC included...

Weight- 4lbs 8oz
Nut Width- 1.856"
