Gretsch 6117 Double Anniversary Sunburst 1959 LEFTY
Up for grabs is this 1959 Gretsch 6117 Double Anniversary Model in Sunburst finish. Rare lefty model, that's been modified with P-90 pickups. The pots, tailpiece, bridge, knobs, and tuners are original. Besides a little buckle rash on the back, the body & finish are in great shape. There's some rotting in the binding along the top where the neck joins the body, while the rest is in good shape and fully in tact. The P-90s, which appear to be a vintage set, sound incredible! Strong, punchy, clear, and full of life. Perfect match for the guitar. Two posts have been added under the top for extra stability. Also, the fingerboard is very worn in, as you can see by the closeup pic's that go down the finger board (last 4 pic's in the listing). Somebody loved this guitar dearly!! HSC included..
