Gretsch 1964 6117 Double Anniversary
This is the "6117 Double Anniversary" model with full acoustic construction.
This model was released in 1958 to commemorate Gretsch's 75th anniversary, and "double" means two pickups.
Vintage look with age-related weather checks throughout the body and head.
It has thumbnail inlays and a space control bridge, and the pickups are the original Hi-Lo Trons.
The pegs have been replaced with Waverlys (the originals are also included, but one is damaged and unusable), the tuners have been replaced and a Bigsby added later. (Original tailpiece also included).
There are filled-in screw holes at the body end, a crack in the pickup rings, two cracks in the neck binding between the 6th and 8th frets (1st string side), several cracks in the body binding and numerous retouch marks (head front, body back, etc.).
There are numerous tiny dents and scuffs throughout, and there are paint peeling in places on the body.
The guitar has been re-fretted and re-nutted, and there is no fret wear.
The neck is not perfectly straight, but is in relatively good condition for a Gretsch of this age and has no playability issues.
There are no problems with truss rod.
