1958年に発表された6119テネシーローズ。発売当初は6119テネシアンとして発売されその後名前が変わります。当時グレッチのエンドーサーを務めていたチェット・アトキンスのアルバム名より名前の付けられたこのモデルは、発売より現在まで多くのミュージシャンに愛し続けられているグレッチ不動の人気を誇るモデルです。完全ホローボディ構造の16インチアーチトップボディに、レイ・バッツが開発したハムバッキング・ピックアップのフィルタートロンを装備し繊細ながら細過ぎない高音域と、温かみがありながら太過ぎない中低音を併せ持ったザ・グレッチサウンドが得られます。ビグスビーユニットを装備し音のゆらぎの大きいダイナミックなビブラート奏法も可能。今やカントリーのみならず幅広いジャンルで使用されながら、独自のテイストとサウンドを確立している唯一無二の楽器です。
