Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins 1955
Up for grabs is this 1955 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins in Western Orange finish. Amazing guitar that was professionally restored by Benedetto Guitars! The body, pots, control knobs, and pickguard are original. The neck is an original '56 neck, but not original to the guitar. The fingerboard, inlays, Bigsby/bridge, tuners are also not original. The pickups are period correct, but not original to the guitar. Again, all the restoration work was done at the highest level by Benedetto Guitars.
Outstanding playing & sounding guitar, and a great way to get into an authentic 6120 for a lot less money. Both original DeArmond's sound amazing.....full, articulate, with beautiful clarity. The guitar couldn't play any better, with low action the whole way down. Original strap and case included, as well as the guitars 2nd bill of sale, from 1964!!
