Summary: This 1994 Gretsch Brian Setzer 6120SSU looks and plays like a dream. This guitar stands out in a crowd and has the versatility to give you a ton of sounds. This awesome instrument comes with the original hardshell case.
Body: Fully bound hollow-body with flamed maple top, back & sides with 2 fully bound F-holes. This instrument is 16” wide at the lower bout, 12.25” wide at the upper bout and it is 2.75” deep.
Neck: Fully bound neck, 22 frets, ebony fingerboard.
Pickups/Hardware: Original Pickups, chrome Sperzel locking tuners, Bigsby tremolo system, 2 volume knobs, 1 master volume knob and 2 selector switches.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in really good shape but there are a few dings & dents from being played over the years. The back of this instrument does show some light buckle rash, however, it doesn’t show up in the photos. There is one ding near the headstock below the low E string, one noticeable ding above the top F-hole and several small various dings – all consistent with a guitar that has been carefully played & loved for the past 20 years.
Playability: This Gretsch plays great – the action is low & the instrument plays with no buzzing or dead spots. The Bigsby is very reactive and the locking tuners help this instrument stay in tune very well.
Weight: 7 lbs., 7oz.
