1955 Gretsch 6131 Jet Firebird. A fantastic, early example of the Jet Firebird featuring the DeArmond pickups! Some minor dings and finish wear. Neck pickup has a newer lead wire and the bridge saddle screws have been replaced (original lead wire and saddle screws included). Plays great with a comfortable, medium-chunky neck. The chambered body not only reduces weight, but also adds a very nice resonance and warmth to the guitar. The original DeArmond pickups produce a killer sound with a beefy, yet still very twangy single-coil tone. An incredible looking, playing and sounding instrument! Includes original hardshell case.
