Description

This has got to be one of the rarest Gretsch guitars ever produced, it is a top line Country Club model in its best color combo of an all Natural finish, this is a very early transition Club when it went to a rather thin body depth ofonly 1 7/8”, highly unusual factory Spruce Top instead of its common maple top, its 2 Filter’tron pickups sound fabulous, unusual combo of large Grover tuners w/butter bean buttons, Zero Fret, Neo-Classic thumb print inlays, roller bridge, gold lucite’gard, factory flip mute w/a red felt surround & a groovy snapped on back pad, it also is sporting a Bigsby “V” cutout Vibrato unit, 2 small areas of crystalizing front side white binding getting repaired as we speak, this is 1 crazy cool optioned transition year Club that is alloriginal, excellent overall, comes with a ton of original paperwork including its original Filter’tron tag, Neo-Classic tag, polishing cloth instruction sheet, strap & a string container, this is like having a Blonde Country Gent & may be the only one like it ever produced, comes complete with its Gray Speckled Tolex Hardshell Case.
