Absolutely stunning and well cared for original pre-owned 1964 Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman 6122 in original Burgundy finish.
Guitar is completely original with original featuring one Filtertron pickup and one Supertron pickup. Pickups sound incredible. Super warm and sweet. These are some of the best pickups ever made.
Neck is straight and true. Nice and fat with a classic vintage feel. Plays with a good low action and no buzz or issues. It's just been setup here at the shop and it's playing fantastic.
Serial number on headstock plate dates the guitar 1964 as well as features.
No cracks or breaks, no issues.
The foam on the mute beneath the strings has worn away and is missing but in our experience no-one uses it anyway. Foam could be replaced, but we left it alone. Binding is original to the guitar and in excellent condition.
This is a particularly fine example.
