1950s/60s Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennessean hardshell guitar case
This is an original hard shell guitar case for a 50s or 60s Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennessean. The case is in very good condition overall with all of the exterior covering and interior lining intact. The cloth hinges for the case lid are secure and hold the lid open as they should. All of the cloth lining is secure and without tears or other degradation. The accessory box is missing the little tab on the lid to help you open it up, but the lid is firmly attached. All of the exterior hardware is good (hinges, latches and handle). The plating on the hardware has some minor pitting but no corrosion or rust. The stitching on the lid is a little worn on one end but the border material is still well attached. The lid of the case closes securely, no warp or other issues. The case interior measures 43" long overall, the body compartment is 21" long, 16" wide at the lower bout and 12" wide at the upper bout. The case is 5" deep, which is quite a bit deeper than a Gretsch Tennessean, but I've compared this case to a case that I know to be original to a Gretsch Tennessean, and it is the same case. Items are sold with a 48 hour approval period unless clearly marked "AS IS" in the listing. AS IS items are not returnable. If an item is going to be returned it is at the buyer's expense and the item must be shipped within 24 hours of the buyer notifying Kovacik Guitars of intent to return. Any returned items must be shipped in the original packaging and MUST be fully insured when returned. Once an item is returned to Kovacik Guitars and judged to be in the same condition as when originally sold a full refund will be issued.
