This is a prime example of “Beatles year” 1963 Gretsch Country Gentleman in walnut with the red,
felt, push-up double mutes as made famous by being played by George Harrison with the Beatles on
the Ed Sullivan show in 1964.
The Country Gent was the top-of-the-line Gretsch instrument next to the White Falcon. This guitar
is in excellent condition and aside from being the same make, year, color and model as the one
George famously used, it is also a 100% original, clean, fabulous looking, playing and sounding 1963
Gretsch Country Gentleman. Comes with Original, Excellent Condition case.
