1960 Gretsch 6119 Double Anniversary Green Early Issue
1960 Gretsch 6118 Double Anniversary in Two Tone Smoke Green. This is an outstanding example of this model Gretsch. Gretsch was making awesome guitars in the fifties and the quality continued through around 1964. This is a wonderful guitar that plays fantastic. The action is nice and low. It's overall construction is basically the same as the 6120 inside. This guitar has a wonderful twang and full bodied tone. It is a pleasure to play and looks great too. The original pickguard has been replaced long ago and a Bigsby was added. It is ready for the road. Comes with the original case in excellent condition.
