It's sometimes hard to find a decent, affordable electric 12-string - and this Gretsch G5422DC-12 is one of them. Part of the Electromatic line and built by Samick in Korea during May of 2012, this example is in good condition all round.

While similar in appearance to the popular Gretsch double cutaway Country Gent design, the G5422DC body differs (like the Country Gent II) in having a shorter heel and more access to the upper frets.

The Gretsch G5422DC-12 is fully hollow, with a pair of braces running the length of the top and a soundpost under the bridge area. The pickups are Black Top Filter'Tron models, which use the same outline (though a slightly different mount) than the pickups used on the Pro line and vintage models.

This example is in great shape with just a few scuffs. It plays well and cleanly, and as a 12 string the six-saddle bridge tunes pretty closely. No case is included.
